Description
The Nokia 2700 Classic is an entry-level handset, introduced in the market in the Nokia Classic range of mobile phones, along with the Nokia 6700 and Nokia 6303. The candy bar styled 2700 Classic has a 2-inch TFT screen with 320 x 240 pixel resolution and 262 K color support. The mobile phone operates in the 2G GSM band and runs on the Symbian series 40 software platform. The phone fits snugly into your hands, weighing just 85 g with dimensions of 109.20 x 46 x 14 mm.
This Nokia handset has preloaded Opera Mini browser and users can also download music and maps from the Nokia Ovi Store. The 2700 Classic features a 2 megapixel camera that comes with 4x digital zooming capability. The camera can also record videos at 176 x 144 pixel resolution and up to 15 fps.
Battery and Storage
A standard 1020 mAh Li-Ion battery is used in the Nokia 2700 Classic that serves a talk time of 6 hours and standby time of 288 hours. The 2700 Classic handset ships with internal memory of 64 MB. External memory can be added using microSD card with maximum capacity of 2 GB. The memory card has the Hot Swappable feature, that lets you switch cards without the turning off the phone. The phone book of this Nokia device can store up to 1000 contacts.
Multimedia
With the Nokia Classic 2700, the music lover in you does not have to look for other options, as the phone packs in a Stereo FM Radio, Music and Video Player. The device also comes preloaded with several games such as Rally Star, Sudoku and Diamond Rush, that keep you entertained on-the-go. The Nokia mobile phone also has voice recorder and stereo microphone. The file formats supported by the 2700 Classic handset are amr, midi, mp3, mp4, aac, aac+, x-tone and wma.
Connectivity and Features
Users can surf the Internet on the Nokia 2700 Classic through GPRS and EDGE. The phone also has the capability to act as a data modem. Other connectivity options in the 2700 Classic include Bluetooth, USB and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The Nokia handset also supports MS Outlook synchronization of contacts, calendar and notes.
Apart from regular messaging like SMS, MMS and EMS, the 2700 Classic also gives you option of Nokia Xpress audio messaging. The phone also has support for Java MIDP 2.0 based applications and Flash Lite 2.0. Other regular features present in the Nokia mobile phone are alarm clock, reminders, prepaid tracker, calculator with advanced functions among others.
